Dear Alumnae/i and Friends
of Maria College,

Start Here. Go Anywhere.

You’ve heard these words before. Think of them as you start a new chapter at Maria College.

At Maria, each year new students are beginning as well, whether they’re coming to us from high school, in the midst of a career change, or returning after raising a family. Our students are beginning a new chapter, with hope for bright futures ahead.

With a distinguished faculty and a close-knit community, Maria College is proud of its more than 50-year tradition of excellence that has earned respect throughout the Capital Region and beyond. Our programs, in health care, education, business and law, and liberal arts, are the foundation of a well-rounded education, useful in career, transferable to four-year institutions, and fostering an appreciation for lifelong learning.

We give our students confidence academically, and the personal attention that they receive here is reflected in their everyday lives. I often hear the same message from our graduates: they have been somehow transformed by their time here. In my years of service as President of Maria, I haven’t met a student who didn’t aspire to become a better person in the service of others. I think it’s the human connection component that makes us special, and I think we help shape people to become more than just their academic degrees.

Fast forward. The Maria student becomes the Maria graduate, fully trained in his or her chosen field, competitive and confident, sought after by Capital Region employers. Our graduates take a part of us with them, as they excel in careers or further education, as they serve in both workplace and community.

We believe Maria College, in Albany, New York, is a place for beginnings. Find out if Maria can be the beginning for you, too. We invite you to join with us in pursuing this path!

Faithfully,
