Maria College is pleased to offer our students, faculty, and staff a fitness facility for use during the academic year. The Fitness Center is located in the basement of the Main Building and includes a number of exercise machines and lockers.
Note: Everyone is required to sign a release prior to accessing the equipment for the first time and you will find the forms in the fitness center.
The Maria Fitness Center is available to faculty, staff and students and is equipped with treadmills, elliptical, spin bike, weight bench and more. Email Gary Zinzow if you have any questions or to receive a free fitness center orientation.
Mary Sloan from the Yoga Loft is back! She offers the perfect class for students and staff alike to restore balance for the mind, body and spirit. The class will have a different focus each week. It’s a great way to improve your health, reduce anxiety and expand mental clarity.
The most fun you will ever have burning a ton of calories. ZUMBA is a dance fitness class that will give you a cardio blast , tone your entire body and provide you with a flood of endorphins. No experience necessary, all fitness levels welcome.
POWER HOUR CLASS
This circuit training class will challenge you on every level. It’s a great combination of cardio and weight training. Led by fitness expert, Gary Zinzow, it will help you sculpt your physique and take your fitness to a new level. This class is appropriate for all fitness levels with modifications as needed. Wear sneakers and bring water. New time will be Thursdays at 4pm.
