Guidance Counselor Resources
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Maria College!
We appreciate the work you do to help your students in their post-secondary plans. The school counselor plays an important role in the high school student’s college search process, and this page is designed with you and your students in mind. We invite school counselors to visit the Maria College campus to learn more about what your students will experience here, and we look forward to our continued collaboration in making a difference in the lives of young people.
Maria College has enjoyed more than five decades of growth, due in great part to the success of its graduates, but underlying this success is the delicate balance the College has maintained between its commitment to the liberal arts and the highly contemporary, career-oriented degrees it offers. Making a difference in the world through the lives of our students is what we are all about at Maria College.
The College, a nonprofit, independent, coeducational institution, serves nearly 1,100 students from across the Capital Region each year, and offers bachelor degree programs as well as a variety of associate degree and certificate programs that are gateways to a professional career and preparation for further education.
At Maria College, our mission is simple: to serve others. Inside and outside the classroom, in our hallways and throughout the community, Maria College students experience the difference of an education that is not only about acquiring knowledge but about giving of oneself.
