Maria College Professor Reviews Textbook
David VanDeusen, RN, MS, Assistant Professor in Maria’s Practical Nurse Certificate program, was a reviewer for the recently published 10th edition of the Textbook of Basic Nursing. This revised edition, published by Lippincott, Williams and Wilkins, and part of Lippincott’s Pathways for LPN/LVN Education Series, contains information on all the critical areas in the curriculum—anatomy and physiology, fundamentals, skills, adult health, growth and development, mental health, maternity and pediatrics, and geriatric considerations. VanDeusen earned a bachelor’s degree from Purchase College of the State University of New York, and a master’s degree from Pace University.
