The Maria Psychology Scholarship is a presidential award given to two outstanding incoming freshmen, who meet the criteria. This is a four-year scholarship only for psychology majors. The award provides funds to cover 50% of the tuition during the freshmen and sophomore years and 100% in the junior and senior years. In order to be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must meet these criteria:
- Be an incoming Maria freshman student with a high school GPA of over 90, and a first time, full-time college student.
- Declare psychology as a major and maintain this choice through graduation; scholarship award money will be rescinded if this changes.
- Maintain a 3.5 cumulative GPA at Maria College. Note: GPAs will be checked at the end of each spring term to determine continued eligibility for the financial award.
