Dr. Sunny Ferrero is a full-time and fully-remote Professor of Biology for the College of Arts and Sciences. They enjoy teaching a wide variety of life science courses including Anatomy and Physiology I & II, Microbiology, and Kinesiology. Showing students how they can tie similar concepts across several of their courses, and also how to apply “textbook concepts” to their everyday lives, is one of Dr. Ferrero’s favorite aspects of instruction. A primary area of interest is in the biochemical aspects of our bodies, metabolism, and the influence that nutrients may have.
