The addition of new programs over the next five years will be crucial for Maria College to provide opportunities for students and working professionals in our area. 2020 saw the amendment of the College’s charter and the addition of our first Master’s degree program, an MS in Occupational Therapy. Led by the strategic compass, Maria is examining program additions in our niche of healthcare fields for intentional vertical growth that will serve students and the Capital District with high-quality programs and education, and exploring hybrid and online program delivery methods. By adding these programs Maria further increases our students’ ability to contribute to the local economy and earn qualifications necessary to pursue in-demand careers. Ongoing integration of the College’s mission into the curriculum will be an important facet of this initiative.
