SUMMARY:New Student Convocation
DESCRIPTION:All new Fall 2022 Maria College students are invited to attend Maria College’s inaugural New Student Convocation\, the official welcoming ceremony to symbolize the start of your academic journey. \nThis experience is very important as students begin their Maria College careers\, and all new students are strongly encouraged to attend. The ceremony is an important step for students in recognizing their entrance into the College community. It also serves as a “bookend” to each student’s collegiate experience\, with convocation as the opening ceremony and commencement as the final goal.  \n Convocation is a traditional ceremony in higher education. Students will be provided with robes to wear and will be joined by the College faculty and leadership in regalia. During the ceremony\, students will receive a token from Maria College with special instructions. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n3:30 – 4:15pm \nNew Student Convocation Ceremony \nGreat Lawn \n  \n4:15 – 5pm \nReception \nMarian Hall\, Courtyard \n  \nPlease join us for gourmet wraps\, salads and desserts. \nPlease RSVP by filling out the 2022 New Student Convocation Form by Friday\, September 16. Your response is required for participation and is greatly appreciated. \nAdditional details about the event will be forthcoming. DESCRIPTION:Maria College in collaboration with St. Peter’s Health Partners is hosting a farmers market with the Regional Food Bank and a wellness fair to provide services such as social needs screenings\, healthcare and daycare information\, self-care activities\, and so much more!\n \nThe Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York has been serving in our community since 1982. The Regional Food Bank will be selling produce on the Maria College campus to support their work. SNAP and WIC accepted.
