DESCRIPTION:Mission at Maria is happy to welcome Deborah Liebman\, from the League of Women Voters to our campus on Monday\, January 29th\, at noon in Fitzgerald Court in Marian Hall for Justice and Pizza.  \nAs a vice president of the League of Women Voters of Albany County\, Deborah Liebman coordinates the Albany League’s voter registration efforts. She has been a member of the League since 2016. Deborah is an attorney\, retiring in 2022 from her position as the Deputy Counsel at the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance. She graduated from Albany Law School and SUNY Binghamton. In addition to her volunteer work with the League of Women Voters\, Deborah is a board member of Grassroot Givers and is active on the Social Action Committee of Congregation Beth Emeth\, coordinating the Committee’s Get out the Vote postcard writing campaigns. \nThere will be free pizza and you can register to vote! Everyone is welcome. \nPlease RSVP to events@mariacollege.edu if you plan on attending.
