In 2019, the Middle States Commission of Higher Education (MSHCE) re-affirmed accreditation of Maria College. In Spring 2026, the College began its self-study process, and the next evaluation visit by an evaluation team appointed by MSCHE is scheduled for 2027-2028.

Maria College will determine a student’s location at time of application, during which students provide their home or permanent address. Once a student is aware of a change to their address they must submit the online change of address form available on the College’s website within 45 days of the address change.

Maria College’s Master’s in Occupational Therapy Program is accredited by Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc. At the completion of the program, graduates are eligible to write the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

Note that a felony conviction may affect a graduate’s ability to sit for the NBCOT certification examination or attain state licensure.
