Middle States Commission on Higher Education
In 2019, the Middle States Commission of Higher Education (MSHCE) re-affirmed accreditation of Maria College. In Spring 2026, the College began its self-study process, and the next evaluation visit by an evaluation team appointed by MSCHE is scheduled for 2027-2028.

Maria College’s
Registered Nursing AAS Program is registered by the New York State Education Department and is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). At the completion of the program, graduates are eligible to write the National Council Licensure Examination for registered nurse licensure. Maria College’s
Master’s in Occupational Therapy Program is accredited by Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc. At the completion of the program, graduates are eligible to write the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Note that a felony conviction may affect a graduate’s ability to sit for the NBCOT certification examination or attain state licensure.
