Andrew Ledoux, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Associate Dean of Students at Maria College, recently was appointed to the board of Circles of Mercy in Rensselaer, NY.
Circles of Mercy is a ministry sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas Northeast Community that works with the poor and underprivileged, with a special emphasis assisting on women and children in the Rensselaer community. The organization provides connection with social services, free income tax preparation, Christmas Adopt-a-Family, holiday baskets, and back to school programs.
Maria College has a history of close ties with Circles of Mercy, partnering on many fundraisers and community benefit events. Ledoux, who is also a Mercy Associate, will serve a term of three years on the board.
