Spectrum News visited campus yesterday, November 8, 2018, to report how Maria College is addressing the nursing shortage in our region by expanding infrastructure to enroll more nursing and health care professional students. The news team filmed the construction underway of a high-tech nursing wing* in McAuley. Maria nursing alumna, Celeste DesChamps ’77, interim Chief Nursing Officer for St. Peter’s Hospital, shared her thoughts on how this will make a positive impact on healthcare throughout the Capital Region.
