Krista Barbour, a student in the Psychology BS program tells us about her internship experience at the Albany County Probation Department and how it will help prepare her for her future career path. Krista focuses on the DWI program within the department, she tells us how she works on the cases and her daily tasks. The internship has enabled her to see the court process up close and allows her to work closely with the Intoxalock and Smart Start programs. She plans to be a parole officer after graduating.
