My time at Maria was very rewarding. I had the opportunity to explore many different types of nursing in the clinical offerings which then helped guide me in my career choices. After graduating from Maria I began working for a pediatrician as a triage nurse. Not only did I do triage but I did a lot of patient teaching, especially in the areas of asthma and RSV babies.
I always had a love for children and teaching, and in 2005, I was given an opportunity as a school nurse with an all-girls boarding and day school, Miss Hall’s School in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. I just celebrated my 16th anniversary!
