“When I moved to New York from Arizona in 2015, all I had planned was that I would be working at a local hospital as an inpatient Pharmacy Technician. Everyday, I would drive by Maria College and somehow had a feeling that I would be involved with that institution in one way or another. Sure enough I ended up completing my Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management 3 years later and upon graduating, I knew that my journey with Maria was far from over. I was able to give back to Maria by taking a part-time adjunct instructor position for a healthcare management course along with Dr. Cella while simultaneously taking classes towards my MBA at Clarkson University. 2.5 years later, I have graduated with that degree. My time at Maria College has taught me to be a better leader as well as a compassionate and passionate professional. It has also prepared me for the challenging yet exciting business world I am currently in. As a certified project manager with an MBA working at a national healthcare marketing agency, I know I would not have been able to achieve so much if it weren’t for my time at Maria College and the professors and administrators that helped me along the way.”
