Welcome one and all to a new academic year at Maria College in Albany, NY!
With the freshness of a new semester, I got thinking about a fresh new year of Maria College Blog posts. And as the Maria College Blog host, I want to use this opportunity to invite anyone interested in writing a post or several blog posts to join the process with me. The Blog is a place where you can share your ideas, interests, insights and Maria College’s unique identity from your perspective—student, staff member, administrator, or faculty.
As a Maria blogger, you could write about College-related events, programs, tips for academic success, College history, your own story or any number of topics. In the past year, since launching the Maria blog, we have featured posts focusing on the College garden, being a student after military service, the city of Albany where the College is located, Pokémon Go, the Maria mission and the Albany, NY area where the College is located, tips for managing a course effectively, the value of reading to children, and much more.
To become a Maria blogger, please submit a blog post in a Word document to me at: anned@mariacollege.edu. Also include your name and background at the College (student, faculty, staff, or alumni).
