Familiar Faces to Capital District viewers speaking at Maria College
ALBANY, NY—Maria College is kicking off a speaker series on Thursday October 15th at 6:00 pm with Dr. Anthony Ferraioli and Channel 13 anchor and reporter, Dan Bazile.
The free event, open to the public is hosted by Maria College’s Bachelor’s degree in Psychology Program and the Psychology and the Media class. Their topic is, “How news media uses experts to educate the public about current issues in the news”.
Both speakers are familiar faces to area viewers. Dr. Anthony Ferraioli, a local physician who specializes in psychiatry and author of four books sits down regularly with NewsChannel 13, Dan Bazile, discussing topics, on his Weekend Today program, from marriage and parenting to what to look for if you suspect a loved one is using heroin.
According to Maria President Lea Johnson, “Maria College is pleased to offer a free event like this to Capital District residents. It is an opportunity for our community to engage with our neighbors by bringing in subject matter experts on timely and relevant topics, like the one hosted by our Psychology faculty and students on October 15th.”
