Healthcare Management BS

You’ll be prepared to step into a management role by learning the technological, clinical, and business sides of the healthcare industry.

Healthcare Management BS

The Maria BS in healthcare management is designed for aspiring managers who want a broad understanding of today’s healthcare system. You will learn about the technological, clinical, and business sides of healthcare and how to apply that knowledge in a variety of settings.

Significant opportunities
Demand for healthcare jobs is expected to remain strong for years to come. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics expects healthcare management jobs to grow at a rate of 23 percent this decade, as the population continues to age and more Americans need medical treatment or long-term care.

Our BS in healthcare management anticipates these needs. The program prepares graduates for mid-level management jobs in settings including corporate health and wellness departments, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and assisted living, long-term care, and rehabilitation centers.

An internship experience
A required internship providing relevant work experiences with professional practitioners will enhance classroom learning and will give students a competitive edge when seeking employment.
