Jenifer Wygant — I was accepted and started my graduate degree in education (MSN) at Empire this semester (Spring 2017). I am full-time and will graduate December 2020.​

Margaret Kershaw — Since graduating from Maria College with my Certificate in Bereavement Studies, I have found part-time employment with our local newspaper, The Observer Dispatch, Utica, as an Obituary Clerk. I work closely with all the funeral homes and those individuals that place obituaries for family members. I love my job and the work that I do!

Mehreena Ahmad — Paralegal Certificate Program, recently was promoted to procurement clerk at Capital Region BOCES in Albany. Along with 20 other travelers to Ireland, Mehreena made Maria history this summer by participating in the College’s first study abroad program. “And boy, was it fun!”

Rachelle Cotugno — Bereavement Studies, was honored by St. Mary’s Institute in Amsterdam, NY, for her 25 years of teaching. She has recorded and produced four record albums and performs at St. Mary’s Church services and events throughout the region. “My greatest blessing is my Guiding Eyes dog, Oriole.

Lorie Jablonski, RN — works in labor and delivery at Ellis Medicine’s Bellevue Women’s Center in Schenectady, NY. Lorie was hired full time before graduating. “I was well-prepared for my boards and couldn’t have had a better experience.”

Alyssa Leonardo — passed her boards on the first try, just three months after graduation. A week later, she began her job at Hudson Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Albany. Alyssa hopes to pursue her master’s in Occupational Therapy from Utica College, starting weekends.

Leanne Blair — If you remember we were the mother and son graduates of 2010. Zachary married in 2012. He has 2 beautiful daughters, Hadley Rose (2/17/14) and McKenna Ashley (5/24/15). Our oldest son, Anthony married in 2013. He has a beautiful daughter Amelia Rose (6/24/14) and a handsome son Oliver Tabias (12/23/16). Making Dr. Blair and I (Leanne Blair) the proudest Papa and Meme of the world's greatest gifts and blessing that God could bestowe upon grandparents.

Garofallou-Hogan — is assistant registrar for transfer articulation at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, where he has completed over 75 transfer agreements to build strong relationships with community colleges nationwide and abroad.
