Maria College encourages all students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Even if students don’t think they are eligible for financial aid, we encourage them to apply because many scholarships require the need determination that is determined from completing the FAFSA.
Steps to completing your Financial Aid application:
If you have never completed the FAFSA you will need to obtain a FSA ID at www.studentaid.gov.
If you are considered a dependent for your aid, you and a parent/guardian will both need a separate FSA ID
Log into the FAFSA at www.studentaid.gov.
Use your/your parents (if you are a dependent) 2021 federal tax return
Complete the FAFSA application for the 2023-2024 academic year

If you are a NY State Resident and plan to enroll full-time, you should complete the NYS TAP Application
Log-on at hesc.ny.gov
Use your/your parents (if you are a dependent) 2021 NYS tax return
